Storage near Sam Houston State University
Space Savers Mini Warehouse is at 3004 Montgomery Rd (opens in a new tab) in Huntsville, near SHSU. Student storage tends to follow the semester: loads are often small to medium, dates are set by move-out day, and much of what gets stored is bedding, clothing, and electronics.
That makes a unit useful for more than dorm residents. Students heading home for the summer, those changing apartments mid-year, and families helping with a move can keep belongings in Huntsville instead of hauling them back and forth.

Plan around move-out day
Tenants have 24-hour access to their units, but the office keeps separate hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, and weekends by appointment only. Call during office hours before move-out day so your unit is ready.
Have these ready when you call:
- Your move-in date and how long you expect to store
- A rough list of furniture and box count
- Anything electronic or heat-sensitive, which may suit a climate-controlled unit
